Any number of things can cause an insurance company to invalidate a policy, but most of them have to do with giving out false information in some way, shape or form. For example, if the type of car or its mileage is incorrect on your policy then any claims may be denied. Aside from false information, if you haven’t paid your insurance premium on time, they may not cover you if you get into an accident. It is important that you not only give correct information to the insurance company, but that you also keep your payments up to date.
